The perfect candidate will have the following personality traits, preferences, and experiences:
This is an onsite role in Knoxville, with flexible work-from-home optionality as needed. While this person will sit at our corporate HQ, the right fit will yearn to have boots on the ground - driving the market, knocking on doors, and connecting with stakeholders.
This is a new role for our team, and we don't have a fixed compensation range. We have numbers in mind, but can be flexible for the right fit, depending on the anticipated level of contribution to our business goals and team. We do not offer retirement plans or traditional health benefits, instead preferring to pay more salary and let you manage your personal affairs as you wish.
About The Process:
Our process for evaluating candidates will include a couple of up-front assessments. In the past, some folks have been turned off by that, and that's okay -- we certainly don't want to ask candidates to invest any time that they're not willing to invest. But historically, we've found that the right "fits" tend to enjoy our process.

About Us:
- Founded in 2004 by local entrepreneurs Jordan Mollenhour and Dustin Gross, MGRE develops, acquires, and manages commercial real estate in East Tennessee.
- Today our growing portfolio consists of over 2M+ square feet of large-scale industrial facilities and commercial office buildings in the Knoxville area.
- We have no outside investors, use debt conservatively, and have a long-term investment horizon.
- Our primary activities are to develop, acquire, and manage commercial real estate assets, and retain exceptional people to lead, support, and operate them.
- We are a small team with high expectations of one another, and we don’t apologize for our ambition.

- Execute (or at least assist with) financial analysis and deal modeling.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts – including survey, title, environmental, legal, structural, etc. – with an eye toward ensuring the team is on track.
- Strengthen our presence and reputation in the market and be a credit to your colleagues.
The perfect candidate will have the following personality traits, preferences, and experiences:

- You are very numerate, capable of quickly estimating whether “the deal pencils.”
- You enjoy a working environment where you will be coached, challenged, and disagreed with.
- You are a learner, who continually strives for personal, professional, and organizational improvement.
- You have an orientation toward independence and autonomy, balanced with a desire to work and communicate in a team environment.
